Payroll Processor

We are searching for a Payroll Professional who is dedicated to providing world-class customer service. We are a close-knit team and support each other extensively. Collaboration with the team and our business partners is imperative to the success of this role. This position is 100% remote, based anywhere within the United States.

The Role

• This role will support the North America Payroll team in the following areas:
  
  
  
  • Processing Payroll
  
  
  • SC ticket resolution
  
  
  • Termination tracking
  
  
  • Treasury funding & benefit back-feeds
  
  
  • Creating payroll load files
  
  
  • Running reports
  
  
  • Handling returned checks & stop payment requests
  
  
  • Hire/Rehire date changes
  
  
  • Assist payroll processors
  
  
  • Demographic data file reviews
  
  


• This position is Monday through Friday, but Payroll Professionals understand that there are occasions, based on pay cycles, that may require weekend or holiday work. We publish our calendars a full year in advance to ensure coverage during these times and allow for our team to schedule accordingly.

The Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with multi state payroll processing, from the gross to net perspective.
• Experience with ADP products (WFN &/or Vantage) is a huge plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and at a minimum, mid-level experience with Excel.
• Experience with customer service.
• Experience with basic payroll processes.
• Communications skills (verbal & written) – the role will have the opportunity to work with all levels of colleagues. It requires great listening skills and the ability to problem solve, including walking non-Payroll colleagues through payroll related processes.
• Ability to document, attention to detail and time management. We are looking for problem-solving skills and experience working to third party deadlines.
• As a publicly held company, we are subject to internal and external audits, requiring us to ensure that our payrolls are balanced (gross to net) each cycle. As there are a significant # of components that make-up each cycle, ability to ensure that they are captured, stored, and easily identified is critical.
• SOX experience is helpful.

Base salary range and benefits information for this position is being included in accordance with the requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to the location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is 55,000-60,000 USD.
