The Head of Paid Search Marketing at Tranzact is a player-coach role responsible for leading and growing our search marketing practice. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance marketing, acquisition, or direct-to-consumer (D2C) companies, with at least 8 years of relevant experience. They should be a hands-on leader, capable of driving the success of our paid search practice and making it best in class.

Responsibilities:


1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive paid search marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and innovative tactics to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of search marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive their professional growth and maximize their potential. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
3. Campaign Optimization: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads). Continuously monitor campaign performance, conduct data analysis, and implement effective optimization strategies to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
4. Budget Management: Ensure that Manage and allocate budgets effectively to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI). Monitor spending patterns, identify areas for optimization, and make data-driven decisions to optimize budget allocation across campaigns.
5. Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in paid search marketing. Share industry insights and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders, keeping the company at the forefront of search marketing innovation.
6. Performance Reporting: Oversee the delivery of regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and insights. Provide actionable recommendations for optimizing performance and achieving business objectives.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, analytics, and creative departments to align strategies, share insights, and ensure integrated marketing campaigns across channels.
8. Vendor and Platform Management: Oversee relationships with search marketing vendors and agencies, ensuring effective partnerships and timely delivery of services.
9. Identify gaps in the technology stack that would enable increases in efficiency and scale.
10. Understanding of landing page optimization principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO).


Qualifications:


• Minimum 8 years of experience in performance marketing, acquisition, or direct-to-consumer (D2C) companies, with a focus on paid search marketing.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing paid search strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of search engine marketing (SEM) platforms, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant tools.
• Proficiency in data analysis and ability to derive actionable insights from performance metrics.
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing principles, best practices, and industry trends.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and ability to think strategically.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a PLUS
